Cosmetology License Requirements in Maine

Earning a license is important as all states require personal appearance workers to be licensed prior to working in the the field. In turn, the licensure requirements in Maine include:

  • Cosmetologist: 1,500 classroom hours, or 2,500 apprenticeship hours.
