Cosmetology License Requirements in Nevada

In order to be eligible for a cosmetology license in Nevada, you must be of good moral character, complete at least a tenth grade education, and take the required number of training hours.   • Esthetician - 600 hours
  • Cosmetologist - 1800 hours
  • Electrologists - 500 hours (supervision from an approved electrologists)

Passing the Nevada State Board written and practical exam is required as well as completing the specified number of training hours.
