Beauty Schools in New Jersey

In tough economic times, many people are seeking careers that are more resilient and more rewarding. Beauty schools around the country are seeing enrollments increase, and these schools are beefing up their programs. Today's cosmetology schools not only train students to become hair stylists, nail technicians, and skin care specialists, but many are providing instruction in massage, wellness, and even some medical spa treatments.

Such training may lead you to exciting careers in salons and spas, as well as with cosmetics manufacturers, or in image consultancy, fashion publishing, and even education. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects rapid growth in all aspects of cosmetology, with most rapid growth taking place among manicurists/pedicurists, skin care specialists (also called estheticians), and make-up artists.
